This stretchy Lycra hood covers the face, neck, mane, withers, chest and shoulders. The hood simply slips on through the nose, snaps back into place and is secured with the adjustable belly strap.

The Lycra hood is designed to be used when preparing for an event or show to keep dust, fur and bedding out of the mane or coat and to make it easier to flatten the mane, which is ideal for horses with a frizzy mane. It is also ideal for keeping braids in place overnight in the barn or while traveling to a show. The lycra stretch hood can be used with any blanket as it is self-fastening. We do not recommend using the lycra stretch PE hood for outdoor use.
