Thanks to its black shell and accessories with copper-coloured chrome details, the Précision Galaxy Eclipse riding helmet is perfect for riders seeking safety and sophistication.
It features new technologies that meet the 2023 safety standards. It will ensure your safety, both on horseback and on foot.
The helmets in the Galaxy collection can be identified by their matte black shell and copper-coloured chrome accessories.
Composition of your Précision Galaxy Eclipse copper riding helmet
The shell
The outer shell of the helmet, thicker, is made of ABS. Its role is to disperse the energy of the shock across the surface of the helmet. When your helmet hits an object, the shell spreads the shockwave by dissipating it. Lightweight and rigid, it is known for its high resistance to scratches.
The inner padding
Featuring a new innovative shape and made from EPS (expanded polystyrene), the inner padding absorbs the energy from impacts by dispersing it. It crushes and becomes much denser.
The inside is partially covered with blue perforated pads: the ERT (Energy Reduction Technology). This new technology allows for better energy distribution from both small and large impacts. Furthermore, it has an anti-rotational action. By working along the shell during a moving impact, the perforated pads follow the movements of your head to minimise the risk of trauma.

The ventilation
The Précision Galaxy Eclipse riding helmet features a new ventilation system: 11 holes are present inside the helmet and 2 vents are placed at the front and back of the helmet. This innovation provides better airflow and good thermal regulation. Additionally, ventilation channels are located beneath the peak, further enhancing internal ventilation.
The fastening system
Completely redesigned for added convenience, the helmet's fastening is equipped with a magnetic "Fidlock" buckle. It allows you to secure the helmet with one hand while riding. The fastening of the riding helmet has a polyamide safety ring, ensuring double protection for the rider.
The harness made of leather and nylon ensures a good fit of the helmet on the rider's head. The 3-point Y-strap ensures a better stability of the helmet.
The inner lining
Made of foam, lycra, and 2D mesh, the lining perfectly adjusts to your riding helmet.
The lining is removable, making it easy to take off for cleaning.
The foams are sold with the helmet.
What’s the comfort bonus?
Elastic bands at the back of the helmet allow for decompression at the back of the head. This way, you can ride with your hair tied up while being comfortable.
The Eclipse peak
The Eclipse peak is inspired by ladies' hats. Elegant, the wide peak has been designed to protect the skin from the sun. It does not obstruct the field of vision.
The European standard EN1384-2023 requires the peak to flex when a load is applied to it. This prevents it from breaking and injuring the rider. The peak of the Antarès helmets is therefore intentionally flexible.
The protective bag Antarès is sold with the riding helmet.
