The shell
The outer shell of the helmet, which is thicker, is made of ABS. Its role is to disperse the shock energy across the helmet's surface. When your helmet hits an object, the shell distributes the shock wave by dissipating it. Lightweight and rigid, it is known for its high resistance to scratches.

The inner padding
Featuring a new innovative shape and made of EPS (expanded polystyrene), the inner padding absorbs shock energy by dispersing it. It then crushes down and becomes much denser.

The inside is partly covered with blue honeycomb pads: ERT (Energy Reduction Technology). This new technology allows for better distribution of energy from both small and large impacts. Additionally, it has an anti-rotational action. By working along with the shell during a moving impact, the honeycomb pads follow the movements of your head to limit the risk of trauma.

Ventilation
The Précision Galaxy Eclipse riding helmet features a new ventilation system: 11 holes are present inside the helmet and 2 air vents are located at the front and back of the helmet. This innovation provides better air circulation and good thermal regulation. Additionally, ventilation channels are present below the visor. They also promote better internal ventilation.

The fastening system
Completely rethought for more practicality, the helmet attachment is equipped with a Fidlock magnetic buckle. It allows you to fasten the helmet with one hand while riding. The attachment of the riding helmet is equipped with a polyamide safety ring. It provides double protection for the rider.

The harness made of leather and nylon ensures the helmet fits well on the rider's head. The Y-shaped 3-point fastening ensures better stability of the helmet on the head.

The little comfort extra?
Elastic bands at the back of the helmet allow for decompression at the back of the head. Thus, you can ride with your hair tied up while remaining comfortable.

The Eclipse visor
The Eclipse visor is inspired by women's hats. Elegant, the wide visor has been designed to protect the skin from the sun. It does not obstruct the field of vision.

The European standard EN1384-2023 requires the visor to flex when a load is applied to it. This is to prevent it from breaking and injuring the rider. The visors of Antarès helmets are therefore intentionally flexible.
