BR Equitation Double bit for rounded horse Soft Contact

This double snaffle bit is made from solid Cuprigan with stainless steel rings. Cuprigan is an alloy composed of 89% copper, 7% aluminium, 3% iron and 1% zinc. The material's oxidation process spreads a pleasant smell and taste. The anatomical design follows the shape of the horse's mouth, creating a gentle, even pressure distribution. Thanks to its rounded shape, this canon offers more space on both sides of the tongue. The combination of Cuprigan's design and unique composition stimulate chewing and salivation, resulting in a delicate bond with the horse's sensitive mouth. The bit has a gentle action in the mouth. The thickness of the canon is 16 mm and the diameter of the bit washers is 65 mm.

A ring bit is a bit with separate bit washers. This type of bit is generally well accepted, as the canon is relatively loose in the mouth.
On a double ring bit, the canon is in three parts. The central part of the canon lies flat on the tongue. This creates more pressure on the tongue than with a single ring bit. The thicker the central part, the greater the pressure on the tongue.
